OGANACELL Dermatology Magok (the "Clinic") complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and establishes this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information and rights of data subjects. This policy applies to personal information handled through our website and messenger channels (LINE, KakaoTalk, WeChat, WhatsApp).
1. Personal Information We Collect
- Messenger (LINE / KakaoTalk / WeChat / WhatsApp) user identifier (stored as a hash)
- Page access information (content identifier)
- Date and time of access
- Language and region information
- On consultation: nickname, contactable messenger ID, inquiry content
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
- Providing treatment consultations and appointment services
- Service improvement and content optimization
- Responding to inquiries
- Content marketing effectiveness measurement (analyzing which content leads to bookings)
You have the right to refuse consent to the collection and use of your personal information. However, refusal may limit your access to consultation and appointment services.
3. Handling of Sensitive Information
In principle, the Clinic does not process sensitive information (such as health-related information) as defined in Article 23 of the Personal Information Protection Act. Where it is unavoidable to receive health-related information during consultation, the Clinic obtains separate consent before processing. We implement security measures to prevent loss, theft, leakage, forgery, alteration, or damage of sensitive information.
4. Retention and Use Period
- Messenger consultation records: 1 year after consultation ends
- Appointment information: 1 year after appointment completion
- Cookie and access logs: 6 months after collection
- Where required by law, for the period specified by the relevant law (e.g., medical records: 10 years — Medical Service Act, Article 22)
5. Provision to Third Parties
The Clinic does not provide personal information to third parties except as required by law or with the prior consent of the data subject.
6. Disposal Procedure and Method
When personal information is no longer necessary due to expiration of the retention period or fulfillment of processing purposes, the Clinic disposes of it without delay using the following methods:
- Electronic files: deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery (permanent deletion tools)
- Paper documents: shredded or incinerated
7. Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Collection Devices (Cookies, etc.)
The Clinic uses cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to provide personalized services. These are used to analyze website access frequency, time spent, content usage patterns, and to measure marketing effectiveness.

8. Rights and Exercise Methods of Data Subjects
You may request access to, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time. The Clinic will respond promptly upon identity verification. For children under 14, personal information is collected and used only with the consent of a legal guardian.
